Function

  • Description: Performs cumulative summation on the elements of the input tensor self along the specified dimension dim, and stores the result in the output tensor out.

  • Formula: Let x_ix\_{i} be an element of the input tensor self from the perspective of dimension dim (with other dimension indices unchanged and only the dim dimension index incrementing sequentially), and y_iy\_{i} be the element at the corresponding position in the output tensor out. Then:

yi=x1+x2+x3+......+xiy_{i} = x_{1} + x_{2} + x_{3} + ...... + x_{i}

Function Prototype

Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnCumsumGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnCumsum" API is called to perform the computation.

aclnnCumsumGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters:

Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (shape) Non-contiguous Tensor
self Input Input tensor. The data type must be convertible to the data type of out. Data dimensions greater than eight are not supported. FLOAT, FLOAT16, INT32, DOUBLE, UINT8, INT8, INT16, INT64, COMPLEX64, COMPLEX128, BFLOAT16 ND - √
dim Input Dimension along which the operation is performed. The value range is [-self.dim(), self.dim()-1]. INT64 - - -
dtype Input Specifies the data type required for the output tensor. Must be consistent with the data type of the output tensor out. FLOAT, FLOAT16, INT32, DOUBLE, UINT8, INT8, INT16, INT64, COMPLEX64, COMPLEX128, BFLOAT16 - - -
out Output Output tensor. The data type must be consistent with the input dtype, the shape must be consistent with self, and data dimensions greater than eight are not supported. FLOAT、FLOAT16、INT32、DOUBLE、UINT8、INT8、INT16、INT64、COMPLEX64、COMPLEX128、BFLOAT16 ND - √
workspaceSize Output Returns the workspace size to be allocated on the Device side. - - - - -
executor Output Returns the operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - -
    • Atlas inference products, Atlas 200I/500 A2 inference products, and Atlas training products: do not support the BFLOAT16 data type.
  • Return value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Code Error Code Description
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 Parameters self and out are null pointers.
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of parameter out is not within the supported range.
The data type of parameter self cannot be converted to the data type of out.
When self.dim()=0, the value range of parameter dim is not within [-1, 0]; when self.dim()>0, the value range of parameter dim is not within [-self.dim(), self.dim()-1].
The data types of parameter dtype and out are inconsistent.
Parameters self and out have inconsistent shapes.
The dimensions of parameters self and out exceed 8.

aclnnCumsum

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description
workspace Input Address of the workspace memory applied for on the Device side.
workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied for on the Device side, obtained through the first-phase API aclnnCumsumGetWorkspaceSize.
executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation process.
stream Input Specifies the stream for task execution.
  • Return value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnCumsum defaults to a deterministic implementation.

When aclnnCumsum encounters a mismatch between the input data type and the output data type, it calls Cast to convert the input data type to the output data type before computation. Therefore, in this case, the Cast operator constraints must be followed. For details, see aclnnCast.
