Function

  • Description: Computes the bitwise AND result of each element in the input tensor and the input scalar. The input tensor and other must be integer or BOOL type variables. When the input is BOOL, computes the logical AND result.

  • Formula:

    outi=selfi&otheriout_i = self_i \& other_i

Function Prototype

aclnnBitwiseAndScalar and aclnnInplaceBitwiseAndScalar implement the same functionality. The differences are as follows. Select the appropriate operator based on your actual scenario.

  • aclnnBitwiseAndScalar: Creates a new output tensor object to store the computation result.

  • aclnnInplaceBitwiseAndScalar: Stores the computation result directly in the memory of the input tensor without creating a new output tensor object.

Each operator follows the two-phase API. You must first call the "aclnnBitwiseAndScalarGetWorkspaceSize" API to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation process, and then call the "aclnnBitwiseAndScalar" API to perform the computation.

aclnnBitwiseAndScalarGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters:

Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (shape) Non-contiguous Tensor
self (aclTensor*) Input self in the formula. The data type of self and other must satisfy the data type inference rules (see conversion relationship), and the inferred data type must be within the supported data type range. INT16, UINT16, INT32, INT64, INT8, UINT8, BOOL ND No more than 8 dimensions. √
other (aclScalar*) Input The other in the formula. The data type and self must comply with the data type inference rules (see conversion relationship), and the inferred data type must fall within the supported data type range. INT16, UINT16, INT32, INT64, INT8, UINT8, BOOL - - -
out (aclTensor*) Output The out in the formula. The data type must be a data type that can be converted after deduction between self and other (see conversion relationship), and the shape must be consistent with self. BOOL, INT8, INT16, UINT16, INT32, INT64, UINT8, FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE, BFLOAT16 N/A No more than 8 dimensions. √
workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Size of the workspace to be applied for on the Device side. - - - - -
executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the op executor, which contains the operator computation flow. - - - - -
  • Return value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

Return Value Error Code description
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The passed self, other, or out is a null pointer.
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data types of self and other are not within the supported range.
Data type inference cannot be performed on self and other.
The data type inferred from self and other cannot be converted to the specified output out type.
The shapes of self and out are different.
The dimensions of self and out exceed 8.

aclnnBitwiseAndScalar

  • Parameters:

    Parameter Input/Output Description
workspace Input Address of the workspace memory applied on the Device side.
workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied on the Device side, obtained from the first-phase API aclnnBitwiseAndScalarGetWorkspaceSize.
executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow.
stream Input Stream that executes the task.
  • Return value

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

Constraints

  • Deterministic computation:

    • aclnnBitwiseAndScalar defaults to a deterministic implementation.
