Function

  • Description: Performs the arctangent operation on each element of the input matrix and outputs the result.

  • Formula:

    outi=tan−1(inputi)out_{i}=tan^{-1}(input_{i})

Function Prototype

  • aclnnAtan and aclnnInplaceAtan implement the same function. The differences in usage are as follows. Select the appropriate operator based on your actual scenario.

    • aclnnAtan: Create a new output tensor object to store the computation result.

    • aclnnInplaceAtan: No need to create a new output tensor object. The computation result is stored directly in the memory of the input tensor.

  • Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. You must first call the "aclnnAtanGetWorkspaceSize" or "aclnnInplaceAtanGetWorkspaceSize" API to obtain the input parameters and calculate the required workspace size based on the computation process, and then call the "aclnnAtan" or "aclnnInplaceAtan" API to perform the computation.

aclnnAtanGetWorkspaceSize

  • Parameters:

Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (shape) Non-contiguous Tensor
input (aclTensor*) Input Input tensor. When the type is INT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, UINT8, or BOOL, converts to FLOAT32 for computation and outputs FLOAT32 type.
Non-contiguous tensor whose dimension does not exceed 8.
    INT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, UINT8, BOOL, FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE, BFLOAT16 ND Must be consistent with out. √
out (aclTensor*) Output Output tensor. Non-contiguous tensor with no more than 8 dimensions. FLOAT, FLOAT16, DOUBLE, BFLOAT16 ND Must be consistent with input. √
workspaceSize (uint64_t*) Output Returns the workspace size to be applied on the Device side. - - - - -
executor (aclOpExecutor**) Output Returns the operator executor, which includes the operator computation process. - - - - -
    • Atlas inference products and Atlas training products: BFLOAT16 data type is not supported.
  • Return Value:

aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.

The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:

    Return Value Error Code Description
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The input or out parameter is a null pointer.
ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of input or out is not within the supported range.
The shapes of input and out are inconsistent.
The dimension of input or out exceeds 8.
