Function
Returns the index of the maximum value of the tensor along the specified dimension (dim), and saves it to the out tensor.
Function Prototype
Each operator is divided into a two-phase API. The "aclnnArgMaxGetWorkspaceSize" API must be called first to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation flow. Then, the "aclnnArgMax" API is called to perform the computation.

Parameters:
Parameter Input/Output Description Instruction Data Type Data Format Dimension (shape) Non-contiguous Tensor self Input Input tensor - FLOAT, FLOAT16, BFLOAT16, DOUBLE, INT8, INT16, INT32, INT64, UINT8 ND - β dim Input Specifies the dimension along which to compute the maximum value. The value range is [-self.dim(), self.dim()). INT64 - - - keepdim Input Whether to retain the dimensions of the input tensor in the output tensor. - - - - - out Output Input tensor. - INT32γINT64 ND - β workspaceSize Output Returns the size of the workspace to be allocated on the device. - - - - - executor Output Returns the operator executor, which contains the operator computation process. - - - - - Return value
aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.
The first-phase API performs input parameter validation and returns an error in the following scenarios:
Return Code Error Code Description ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_NULLPTR 161001 The input self or out is a null pointer. ACLNN_ERR_PARAM_INVALID 161002 The data type of self or out is not within the supported range. The shape of self exceeds 8 dimensions. dim is not within the valid range.
aclnnArgMax
Parameters:
Parameter Input/Output Description workspace Input The workspace memory address applied for on the Device side. workspaceSize Input Size of the workspace applied for on the Device side, obtained through the first-phase API aclnnArgMaxGetWorkspaceSize. executor Input Operator executor, which contains the operator computation flow. stream Input Specifies the stream on which the task is executed. Return Value:
aclnnStatus: return code. For details, see aclnn Return Codes.
Constraints
Deterministic computation:
- aclnnArgMax defaults to a deterministic implementation.
