Function

  • Description: Performs addition computation.

  • Formula:

    outi=selfi+alpha×otheriout_i = self_i+alpha \times other_i

Function Prototype

  • aclnnAdd and aclnnInplaceAdd implement the same function. The differences in usage are as follows. Select the appropriate operator based on your actual scenario.

    • aclnnAdd: Create a new output tensor object to store the computation result.

    • aclnnInplaceAdd: No need to create a new output tensor object. The computation result is stored directly in the memory of the input tensor.

  • Each operator uses the two-phase API. You must first call the "aclnnAddGetWorkspaceSize" or "aclnnInplaceAddGetWorkspaceSize" API to obtain the workspace size required for computation and the executor that encapsulates the operator computation process, and then call the "aclnnAdd" or "aclnnInplaceAdd" API to perform the computation.

    The shapes of selfRef and other cannot be broadcast.
    The broadcast shape is not equal to the shape of selfRef.
    alpha cannot be converted to the data type deduced from selfRef and other.
