MEF Edge Fails to Automatically Update the MEF Center Root Certificate
Symptom
After MEF Center automatically updates the MEF Center root certificate, MEF Edge cannot connect to MEF Center. An error example is as follows:
check edgehub client cert error: get cert from center error: Post \"https***\": x509: certificate signed by unknown authority
Cause Analysis
When MEF Center automatically updates the root certificate, MEF Edge fails to automatically update the MEF Center root certificate due to network interruption or other reasons. After the MEF Center root certificate is forcibly updated, the MEF Center expired root certificate in the MEF Edge device cannot be verified. As a result, the interconnection fails.
Solution
Obtain the MEF Center root certificate and cloud-edge authentication token again, and configure the NMS on the MEF Edge device. For details, see Interconnection Authentication of MEF Center and MEF Edge.
