Devices Cannot Be Managed by FusionDirector After the NMS Mode Is Switched to FusionDirector

Symptom

When the NMS mode of a device is switched to FusionDirector, the device cannot be managed by FusionDirector.

Possible Causes

  • The FusionDirector NMS information is incorrect.
  • The device has not been added to FusionDirector or has been deleted.
  • The time of the device is not synchronized with that of FusionDirector.
  • The FusionDirector root certificate is incorrect or has expired.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the FusionDirector NMS information is correct.
    • If the information is incorrect, reconfigure the NMS information. For details, see "Configuration Process (Atlas 500 AI Edge Station (Model 3000)) > Deploying and Updating Applications on FusionDirector > Registering with the NMS" in the MindX Edge Application Deployment Guide.
    • If yes, go to 2.
  2. In the upper part of the FusionDirector page, choose Menu > Devices > Device List, select Servers or Edge Devices based on the device type to check whether the device exists in the device list. Alternatively, choose Add Device > Manually Add. On the Removed Devices tab page, check whether the device has been deleted.
    • If the device does not exist in the device list and is not deleted, add the device on FusionDirector. For details, see "Configuration Process (Atlas 500 AI Edge Station (Model 3000)) > Deploying and Updating Applications on FusionDirector > Adding an Edge Device on FusionDirector" in the MindX Edge Application Deployment Guide.
    • If the device has been deleted, delete the device on FusionDirector and manually add the device. For details, see "Configuration Quick Start > Edge Device > Adding an Edge Device" in the FusionDirector Operation Guide.
    • If the device exists in the device list, go to 3.
  3. Check whether the system time of the device is consistent with that of FusionDirector.
    • If no, change the system time of the device to be the same as that of FusionDirector.
    • If yes, go to 4.
  4. Update the FusionDirector root certificate. For details, see "Configuration Process (Atlas 500 AI Edge Station (Model 3000)) > Deploying and Updating Applications on FusionDirector > Registering with the NMS" in the MindX Edge Application Deployment Guide.
