Planning the Network for the Atlas 500 AI edge station (model: 3000)
Figure 1 shows the typical networking of an Atlas 500 AI edge station (model: 3000). FD is short for FusionDirector.

Floating IP address |
For two-node deployment, this IP address functions as the unified entry for external devices to access the two-node cluster. The active and standby nodes use the same floating IP address. If the active node is faulty, the standby node uses the floating IP address to communicate with external devices. |

Arbitration IP address |
You do not need to plan this IP address separately. The gateway IP address of the service IP network segment is used to periodically detect whether the service IP address is available. If the network cable of the service network port on the active node is disconnected, the active/standby switchover can be performed. |
