Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. Enter https://FusionDirector IP address in the address box of the browser and press Enter. The FusionDirector login page is displayed.
  2. Enter the user name and password to log in to FusionDirector.
  3. Choose Menu > Devices > Device List > Edge Devices to display the page for managing edge devices.

  4. In the device list, select one or more target Atlas 500 AI edge station (model 3000)s, click More on the right of the page, and select Enable IEF Mgmt Mode.

The IEF management mode can be enabled only when the IEF management mode of the edge device is disabled and no container exists (if containers exist, delete them).

  5. Enable the IEF management mode.

No verification is performed. Upload a tar.gz file, set Verification to No, and click OK.

  6. Import the IEF certificate on the WebUI. (Skip this step if the alarm reporting function is not required.)
    1. Log in to IEF console. On the left of the menu bar, choose Edge Resources > Edge Nodes. Click the name of the registered edge node, and choose Certificates > Add Certificate on the displayed page. After you type related information, the system automatically downloads the certificate file package to the local PC. Decompress the downloaded file package to obtain the required certificate and certificate private key.
    2. After the IEF management mode is enabled on FusionDirector, log in to the Atlas 500 AI edge station WebUI to import the IEF certificate and certificate private key.

  7. Check whether the Atlas 500 AI edge station (model 3000) is running on the IEF WebUI.
    1. Log in to the IEF console.
    2. Choose Dashboard and click Switch Instance to switch to the platinum edition.
    3. Choose Edge Resources > Edge Nodes in the navigation pane on the left. In the edge node list, check the node status of the target Atlas 500 AI edge station (model 3000). If the node status is Running, the Atlas 500 AI edge station (model 3000) is successfully run by IEF.
