Atlas 500 AI edge station (model 3000)

Table 1 describes the deployment modes and scenarios supported by service applications of the Atlas 500 AI edge station (model 3000).

FusionDirector	Set the NMS mode to FusionDirector to connect FusionDirector with the devices to be managed. Then, FusionDirector can manage the devices in batches.	Manages a large number of devices in batches. You can select this mode if FusionDirector is deployed.
IEF	Set the NMS mode to HUAWEI CLOUD IEF to connect devices with IEF so that IEF can manage devices in batches.	Conducts container management on a large number of devices in batches. You can select this mode if Huawei Cloud is deployed.
Both FusionDirector and IEF	Set the NMS mode to FusionDirector so that FusionDirector can manage edge nodes. Enable IEF on FusionDirector so that IEF can deploy service applications on edge nodes.	Conducts container management on a large number of devices in batches. If you want to use FusionDirector to manage edge nodes and use IEF to deploy service applications on edge nodes, you can use this mode.

When the NMS mode is switched between Point-to-point Management and FusionDirector, existing containers will be smoothly ported and will not be deleted. You can manually delete the containers as required.
If containers have been deployed before the NMS mode is switched to HUAWEI CLOUD IEF or another mode from HUAWEI CLOUD IEF, manually delete the deployed containers first.
If the NMS mode is HUAWEI CLOUD IEF or the IEF dual-NMS mode is enabled on FusionDirector, to switch the mode to Point-to-point Management and FusionDirector, you need to delete the edge node from the IEF platform and then switch the NMS mode on the Atlas 500 AI edge station (model 3000) WebUI. Table 2 describes the deployment modes and scenarios supported by the service applications of other products (such as the Atlas 200 AI accelerator module (RC) and Atlas 500 Pro AI edge server (model 3000)).

If containers have been deployed before switching the NMS mode, delete the deployed containers manually first.
