Upgrading the CANN Version
Some operators will be optimized each time the CANN version is upgraded. If the execution performance of some operators is poor or the operators are executed on AI CPUs, you can upgrade the CANN version. Note that both the toolkit and kernel packages need to be upgraded. Generally, upgrading the CANN version does not bring negative impacts.
The following uses the GridSampler2D operator as an example to illustrate the solution. As shown in Figure 1, the operator is executed on AI CPUs and the performance is poor. The CANN version in this case is old.
Executing the operator on AI CPUs

The preceding problems show that the operator has poor performance on AI CPUs in the current CANN version. To solve the problems, you can upgrade the CANN version to 8.0.RC3 or later. After the upgrade, the performance is greatly improved.
