Overview

CANN Manager allows you to switch between and update available Ascend-CANN-Toolkits without reinstalling MindStudio IDE. Before using this function, ensure that MindStudio IDE and an Ascend-CANN-Toolkit have been installed.

Open the CANN Manager window in any of the following ways:

On the shortcut toolbar of MindStudio IDE, click the following icon.

On the menu bar of the MindStudio IDE project page, choose File > Settings... > Appearance & Behavior > System Settings > CANN. The CANN Manager window is displayed.
On the menu bar of the MindStudio IDE project page, choose Ascend > CANN Manager.
On the MindStudio IDE welcome page, choose Customize > All settings... > Appearance & Behavior > System Settings > CANN. The CANN Manager window is displayed.

The values in the Component and Host OS Arch columns in Figure 2 may vary according to the CANN version.

Table 1 describes the parameters and icons in the CANN Manager dialog box.

Parameter/Icon	Description
CANN location	Ascend-CANN-Toolkit installation path. Defaults to $HOME/Ascend/ascend-toolkit/*{version}*. You can click on the right to switch between the CANN versions.
Change CANN	Switches between the Ascend-CANN-Toolkits.
Package	CANN package name
Component	Component name
Version	CANN version number and software package version number
Host OS Arch	Host OS and architecture
