Baseline Comparison

Profiling allows you to compare the results of two profiling reports and Baseline Comparison displays the comparison result. If multiple reports are generated after repeated profiling, you can compare the changes of the data collected multiple times in the same situation.

In an opened profiling report, select Baseline Comparison, as shown in Figure 2. Then click the folder button on the right of Baseline file path, and select the baseline data report (.json file) to be compared with the current report. See Figure 2.

Figure 2 Selecting a baseline data report

Compare the data in the current report with that in the report selected in Baseline file path, and display the differences. Figure 3 and Figure 4 show the comparison results of two reports.

  • Baseline Comparison compares only the result data of OPs and AI Core Metrics.
  • Baseline Comparison supports only the comparison of profiling results with the same device ID.
  • The difference between two values is accurate to two decimal places.
  • Profiling Elapsed Time indicates the time during which profiling is performed.
  • Generally, the two reports must contain the data generated by profiling for the same device, model, and collection parameters. Otherwise, they cannot be compared and an alarm is generated. If the data collected by two different devices or models is the same, the two reports can also be compared.
  • In the sample-based scenario, a line chart illustrating the comparison result of AI Core Utilization is displayed.
