Creating a Profiling Project

1. In the navigation bar on the left of the welcome page, click Projects, and select and open a built project.
2. Choose Ascend > System Profiler from the menu bar. The system analysis project page is displayed.
3. On the system analysis project page, click New Project on the welcome page or the icon in the upper left corner.
4. Repeat Step 3 to Step 6 to complete the creation.

Opening a Project Not Displayed

1. In the navigation bar on the left of the welcome page, click Projects, and select and open a built project.
2. Choose Ascend > System Profiler from the menu bar. The system analysis project page is displayed.
3. On the system analysis project page, use either of the following methods to select a project directory that is not displayed:
   • Click Open Project on the welcome page.
   • Click the icon in the upper left corner.
   • Right-click the blank area in the navigation bar on the left and choose Open… from the shortcut menu.
4. Click OK to open the report.

Opening a Project

After data collection is successful, the performance analysis result is automatically displayed.

1. Enter the system analysis project page, right-click the corresponding project directory in the navigation bar on the left.
2. Choose Open Project from the shortcut menu.

Deleting a Project

1. Enter the system analysis project page, right-click the corresponding project directory in the navigation bar on the left.
2. Choose Delete Project from the shortcut menu.
3. In the dialog box shown in Figure 1, click Yes.

Refreshing the Navigation Bar

Click in the upper left corner of the system analysis project page, and the status of the navigation bar is refreshed and the latest project directory tree is displayed.
