Deleting a Project File

Right-click a file in the project directory on the left and choose Delete... from the shortcut menu. The deletion options are displayed, as shown in Figure 1. You can select one option to delete the file.

• Safe delete (with usage search): This feature enables you to search for the usage of a file to ensure its safe deletion by verifying that it is not being referenced. If confirmation is necessary, MindStudio IDE will present you with the search results and specific file usage details for your reference.
• (Optional) Search in comments and strings: This feature enables you to search for the references of comments and character strings.
