Project Closing
Closing a Project
To close an open project, choose from the top menu bar. After all projects are closed, the dialog box shown in Figure 1 is displayed. You can open the latest project based on the records on the right, click Open to import an existing project, or click New Project to create a project as required.
Opening a Recent Project
After all projects are closed, you can open the recently used project in either of the following ways:
- Choose from the top menu bar. On the displayed page, choose the project you want to open.
- Choose from the top menu bar. On the displayed page, choose the project you want to open, for example, the project shown in Figure 2.
If a project has code risks, the trust window is displayed when you open the project.
- If the project source code is trusted and secure, click Trust Project. (You can select Trust projects in <workspace_directory> to trust all projects in the directory.)
- If the project is not trusted and you only want to view the source code, click Preview in Safe Mode to preview the project in safe mode.
- To cancel opening the project, click Don't Open.
If there is already an active project in the window, the message shown in Figure 3 will be displayed.
Removing Recent Project Records
After all projects are closed, you can remove the records of the recently opened projects as required in either of the following ways:
- In the right pane of the MindStudio welcome page, hover the cursor over the project to be removed and click
on the right, or right-click the project and choose from the shortcut menu. - On the project page, choose from the top menu bar. In the dialog box shown in Figure 4, hover the cursor over the project to be removed and click
on the right, or right-click the project and choose Remove from Recent Projects from the shortcut menu.
