[H2D/D2H Bandwidth] Bandwidth Performance Degradation Due to Absence of CPU Cores

Symptom

The H2D/D2H bandwidth performance does not meet the requirement.

Possible Causes

The CPU is abnormal, and the CPU core is not detected.

Check Method

Run the lscpu command to check whether there are offline CPUs.

• CPU(s): number of all cores
• On-line CPU(s) list: numbers of all online CPUs
• Off-line CPU(s) list: numbers of all offline CPUs
• NUMA node N CPU(s): number of the online CPU in the NUMA node. If the value is empty, the CPU is not detected.

As shown in Figure 1, offline CPUs exist, that is, there is a CPU exception in the system. While Figure 2 shows normal system CPU status.

Contact hardware maintenance engineers to rectify CPU exceptions.
