Before You Start
- The environment variables have been correctly configured. If the variables are not configured, perform steps provided in Preparations to configure them.
- Before running the log tool, ensure that the directory for storing output results is secure and has sufficient available space.
- During Ascend NPU log collection, if the link status of the network port on the current server is UP, a large amount of information needs to be collected and the collection takes a long time. You can configure the link status of the network port by referring to the HCCN Tool API Reference.
- The log tool may use the rpm and npu-smi commands. Ensure the file security before running the commands.
- For security purposes, ensure that the cut, echo, grep, expr, cat, bash, date, hostname, which, gzip, find, xargs, sh, egrep, awk, df, du, tar, rm, mv, lspci, env, ls, last, reboot, dmesg, whoami, who, sed, mkdir, chmod, dirname, basename, and touch commands are secure and available before running the log collection tool.
