Application Scenario

Checkpoints are crucial for model recovery after training interruptions. The density of checkpoints, as well as their storage and recovery performance, are important factors that can significantly improve the effective throughput of the training system. MindIO ACP supports checkpoint acceleration, enabling Ascend products to expand the market share in the LLM field.

Component Function

Use the memory of a training server as the cache in foundation model training, to accelerate checkpoint saving and loading.
