Preparations

MindCluster Ascend Deployer supports package upgrade on a single server and in batches. Currently, the following software can be upgraded: CANN, NPU firmware and driver, MCU firmware, and MindCluster components (performance test, fault diagnosis, and cluster scheduling, excluding MindIO).

Preparations

Before using MindCluster Ascend Deployer to upgrade the software, ensure that the following operations are complete:

You have downloaded MindCluster Ascend Deployer.
You have downloaded the required software.

Restrictions on Upgrade

Before the upgrade, ensure that only software packages of required versions exist in the ascend-deployer/ascend_deployer/resources/ directory. Otherwise, there may be a mismatch of versions.
To upgrade the MindCluster components, obtain the software packages and use the software-specific installation method.
