Introduction

Compute Architecture for Neural Networks (CANN) provides a comprehensive suite of C and Python API libraries. These APIs allow you to leverage hardware compute resources of the Ascend AI Processor to perform deep learning inference, image/graphics preprocessing, and accelerated single-operator computation on the CANN platform. These libraries, referred to as ACL (for C API library) and pyACL (for Python API library) respectively, include a wide range of APIs for runtime management, single-operator invocation, model management, and media data processing.
