Installation Description

This document describes how to quickly install the Ascend Neural-Network Processing Unit (NPU) driver and firmware and Compute Architecture for Neural Networks (CANN).

Installation Scheme

This document describes how to install the driver, firmware, and CANN software on physical machines, containers, and VMs. Figure 1 shows the deployment architecture.

The preceding installation scheme does not support the Atlas 200I A2 accelerator module (RC) and Atlas 500 A2 edge station. For details about how to deploy the environment, see the edge device documentations .

Hardware Mapping and Supported OSs

For details about OSs supported by each hardware product in the physical machine deployment scenario, see Compatibility Query Service.

For details about OSs supported by each hardware product in the VM deployment scenarios, see Table 1. The container OS versions provided in the guide have been verified. Replace it with the actual image version.
