Function Usage
Obtains a floating-point number composed of the magnitude of the first input x and the sign of the second input y.

Prototype

Returns
- If y is greater than or equal to 0, the absolute value Abs(x) of x is returned.
- If y is less than 0, the opposite number of the absolute value of x is returned, that is, -Abs(x).
- If y is nan, -Abs(x) is returned.
- If y is -inf, -Abs(x) is returned.
- If y is inf, Abs(x) is returned.
Restrictions
For SIMT programming, this API is not supported.
Header File to Be Included
To use this API, the simt_api/math_functions.h header file must be included.
1 | #include "simt_api/math_functions.h" |
Examples
For SIMD and SIMT programming:
1 2 3 4 5 | __simt_vf__ __launch_bounds__(1024) inline void KerneCopySign(__gm__ float* dst, __gm__ float* x, __gm__ float* y) { int idx = threadIdx.x + blockIdx.x * blockDim.x; dst[idx] = copysignf(x[idx], y[idx]); } |
