Description

x

Input

Source operand.

y

Input

Source operand.

Returns

Maximum value of the two input data elements.

  • If x is +0 and y is -0, the return value is x.
  • If x is -0 and y is +0, the return value is y.
  • If x is nan, the return value is y.
  • If y is nan, the return value is x.
  • If both x and y are nan, the return value is nan.
  • If either x or y is inf, the return value is inf.
  • If x is -inf, the return value is y.
  • If y is -inf, the return value is x.
