Description

y

Input

Source operand.

x

Source operand.

Returns

Arc tangent of y/x.

  • If either x or y is nan, the return value is nan.
  • If x is 0 and y is 0, the return value is nan.
  • If y is inf and x is inf, the return value is π/4.
  • If y is -inf and x is inf, the return value is -π/4.
  • If y is 1 and x is inf, the return value is 0.0.
  • If y is inf and x is -inf, the return value is π3/4.
  • If y is -inf and x is -inf, the return value is -π3/4.
  • If y is 1 and x is -inf, the return value is π.
  • If y is inf and x is 1, the return value is π/2.
  • If y is -inf and x is 1, the return value is -π/2.

__simt_vf__ __launch_bounds__(1024) inline void KernelAtan2(__gm__ float* dst, __gm__ float* y, __gm__ float* x)
{
    int idx = threadIdx.x + blockIdx.x * blockDim.x;
    dst[idx] = atan2f(y[idx], x[idx]);
}
